Not good enough...

For every success you achieve in your life, there will be one person who will turn around and say ‘Eh! You could have done better!’

They say the truth in life is that you cannot keep everyone happy. We still strive. They say you must take life with a pinch of salt. We don’t like that taste. They say life is not a bed of roses. We want to avoid the thorns.

Life goes on. You move on. You keep growing from strength to strength. But the voices that keep haunting you are ones which said you aren’t good enough.

For some people, these voices egg them on. There is that constant need to prove them wrong. To drown them with success. To push them to the wall…crush them to death.

And for some people, there is that silent tug in the heart which keeps reminding them that no matter what they do, they will never be good enough. 

Expectations only matter if you want to fulfil them...problem is, most of the time, you DO.
