I would love to be the reason behind every smile you smile…maybe sometimes the reason behind a tear or two…I would love to be the first thought that crosses your mind when you open your eyes in the morning...the last thought before you drift to sleep...and maybe the one you dream about most often...I would love to be the longing in your heart…and that feeling that something's missing when I am not around...I’d love to be near you in every breath you take…and just a little away so you miss me…I’d love to ruffle your hair every time you remember to comb them, and settle them when they look unkempt…I’d love to remind you every little thing you forget…and also make you forget the rest of the world when you’re with me…to be the wind beneath your wings when you soar to great heights, and also be the one you come home to every night…I want to be your everyday…and I want to make every day as special as you are to me…I’d love to love you so much that you would need no one else…and I’d love to internalize the pride I feel in the love you receive from others…I would love to see possessiveness in your eyes, and a little jealousy sometimes…yet I’d love to see your confidence in knowing that I’m yours’ alone…

I may not be any of these…I may be some…I may be all…and maybe there is someone else who is the one for you…it’s a strange feeling to live with, but it doesn’t change the way I feel…only once in a while, a little thought crosses my heart…and then, I want to be the one for you…like you are to me…
