Just another day...?

The sun rose in the east today.

And the alarm rang on time.

But I woke up before it could wake me up.

I didn’t want to.

You would say I am in denial. May be.

I know what day it is.

And I know I am not looking forward to it.

What am I denying?

It’s a beautiful day. It is.

And it rained today.

I have a lot of work to do, that’s not new either.

But the busy day, and the idle chatter in office,

The rain that cooled down my city,

And the time that lies ahead of me before the day ends –

Can’t fill up the vacuum.

I miss you…

It's a sinking feeling sometimes...
