Random thoughts!
I left office a little late last evening...we have the disadvantage of sitting inside AC rooms (don't smirk!) where we have no clue about what is going on outside...unless we're logged in to Facebook or Twitter...so...a bunch of us took the lift from the 9th floor downwards...and as we reached the porch of the building, were very pleasantly greeted by a storm (my colleagues would vehemently disagree!)...The krishnochura right in front of my office building swayed in the breeze and it struggled to rid itself of a plastic cover that the storm had covered it with...the dark skies looked a little threatening...people scurried home...what a beautiful city we live in!
They waited for a taxi in front of the office building...I decided to walk a bit (hardly a romantic decision! Actually...I had to go over to an ATM which was across the road :P)...waiting in a queue is NEVER my scene...however, this storm made quite a difference. And then, I walked towards Theatre Road...my search for a taxi began...did I mention it had already started to rain? Ocassionally I looked out for an empty black and yellow ambassador, secretly wishing I'd have to wait for a while before I got one (perfect excuse to get drenched..isn't it?)
...and then it hit me...walking against the winds is much more fun than walking with it... :)
